Our commitment to protecting your personal information, Aadhaar details, and document privacy.
1. Information We Collect
To provide you with secure e-signature services, ViViD eSigner collects the following types of information:
- Account Data: Name, Email Address, and Phone Number (for Google OAuth and authentication).
- Identity Data (eKYC): If you use Aadhaar-based eSign, your Aadhaar Number / VID is processed securely via UIDAI-authorized ESPs. We do not store your Aadhaar Number.
- Document Data: PDF documents uploaded for signing. These are temporarily encrypted and stored securely until signing is complete.
- Audit Trails: IP addresses, device information, geolocation, and timestamps for creating legally binding audit trails.
2. Data Usage and Protection (DPDP Act)
ViViD App Studio complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 (India). We process your data exclusively for the purpose of facilitating digital signatures and maintaining service security.
We utilize AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We will never sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or document contents to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
We only share your data with essential third parties required to provide the service:
- eSign Service Providers (ESPs) & C-DAC: For facilitating Aadhaar-based OTP verification and e-signature certificate issuance.
- Payment Gateways (Razorpay/Stripe): For securely processing subscription and credit purchases.
- Law Enforcement Agencies: We will disclose data only if required by a valid subpoena or court order originating from competent courts in Mumbai City, Maharashtra, India.
